## Key facts

- Hypnocracy names a regime of power that works on perception and consciousness, multiplying competing narratives until the distinction between true and false stops organising collective life.
- Book: *Ipnocrazia. Trump, Musk e la nuova architettura della realtà*, Edizioni Tlon, 2024. Editions in French (*Hypnocratie*), Spanish (*Hipnocracia*) and English (*Hypnocracy*).
- Before the revelation the book was reviewed as the work of a real philosopher by Italian, French, Spanish, German and Argentine outlets. The New York Times, Le Monde and Wired covered it after the revelation, as a story about the experiment.
- The term has been used in the Italian Senate (23 April 2025), entered the French Wiktionnaire, and by October 2026 appeared in 66 academic records, mostly as an analytical category in education, political science and law.
- Sequel: *Prompt Thinking: A Critique of Generative Reason*, Polity Press, 2026, signed Jianwei Xun.
